Part of the Spring 2026 collection by Brandy Young, Gabriella is a captivating 18”x24”x1” acrylic on canvas that masterfully captures the dualities of existence. At its core, the piece features a dynamic fluid acrylic base layer, where swirling currents of silver, black, white, and deep purple mingle with subtle blue undertones. This mesmerizing, marbled foundation creates an organic texture, evoking a raw, elemental energy.
Juxtaposed against this fluid background is a striking, meticulous overlay. Bold, solid black negative space defines the composition, intricately carved away by brilliant, neon-like rainbow outlines. These geometric and organic lineworks—ranging from sharp tribal chevrons to fluid, oceanic spirals—gradient beautifully from fiery reds and oranges at the top down to cool greens, blues, and deep indigos at the bottom.
